I know, this is strange without an explanation. This is my 10-year-old dressed up for a day at a one-room schoolhouse, where they lived as 1850s children. She had to follow a particular dress code, bring her lunch in a basket, wear her hair in braids. I think her expression is similar to our old family photos in which no one ever smiled!
