Word of the Week: Luftmensch

It's hard not to have my head in the clouds as the days get warmer and the green spring has sprung out all over. So the word this week is for all of us with spring fever. Luftmensch is from the Yiddish luftmentsh, literally meaning "air human being."

"The word 'Luftmensch' flew into Barstein's mind. Nehemiah was not an earth-man. . .. He was an air-man, floating on facile wings." -
Israel Zangwill

Have a great Monday!
